I truly have the best job in the world! I love working with creative young people, and
kickstART youth markets project is no exception. I am working with a really talented and inspiring team of young people, and such passionate colleagues. A dedicated
micro-site and
blog have been set up, workshops are being held, stall holders are getting ready to sell their wares, an art trail is being planned . . . the list goes on, and the flagship event for
National Youth Week WA 2011 is going to be extraordinary! Oh, and we are sending out moleskines across WA for a
Sketchbook project and pop-up gallery too!
The workshop venues at
City Farm &
REmida (and their staff) are just delightful and run amazing organisations of their own.
Lewis Horne has worked his magic with scrap metal and the ideas of young people. You can see more images of the retro rocket progress
here.
I am so totally impressed with the work that is being produced. You can check more out on the
Propel Youth Arts WA website too.
