Every yarn tagger loves to know their work is appreciated, and cared for. So far, none of captain plaknit's tags have come down - which is great for the soul, and very exciting!
One tag in particular has been added to, and I am most appreciative and totally tickled pink!!!
Thanks you psydchic stitch!!

this super hero loves the beach!
My day job had me in Lancelin for a week, so what better time to create a beach piece! [Lancelin is a town a few hundred km's north of Perth up the coast and is known for its windsurfing culture]. Despite the heat, I had a great time and was inspired by the beach, so created a bit of a landscape tag. It was great meeting some of the locals up there, and the beach, sand dunes and wind are not only an integral part of the landscape, but also part of the culture and the people. The town also have their own community art peices, in the form of various trees and fences that people add found objects to . . . .

First night tag!
After choir rehearsal this evening, I bit the bullet and decided to put up anther yarn tag - this time knitted (a rareity for me, I usually crochet). It was quite a busy spot, with lots of cars and people, so I was a little nervous. It took about 20 mins to put up, and then I took some pics for posterity, and to share! This tag is a little homage to Planet (my fave music/book/film store).

Over the rainbow
Last week, I finally got up early enough in the morning to put up the rainnbow tag I have had waiting for months!! It went up outside Freedom Centre - a drop in centre for young people with/discovering their diverse sexuality and gender. A totally brilliant and inspiring place!
